Backpackers hostels are a common type of accommodation worldwide for those traveling on a budget, or people who simply enjoy meeting like minded travelers. This is however a fairly new idea for Nova Scotia and many people are just not aware of this great affordable accommodation option.

What to expect from our member hostels

You can expect a clean, comfortable and safe place to rest your head at a budget price. Our members offer friendly service and will do their best to make your trip extraordinary. We offer fully equipped shared kitchens so you can choose whether you would prefer to go out for dinner or cook for yourself. Common living areas are also part of the deal: you can sit back and relax with other guests from all over the world, playing board games, watching a movie together, or exchanging travel ideas. Some of us even have a swimming pool, bbq, bicycles or breakfast available to our guests.
Most rooms are spacious dorm-style rooms, although many of us do have a private room available.

Backpackers Hostels offer you the opportunity for a great experience at a price you can afford!

The South West Nova Loop
There are now six hostels located just in the SouthWest Nova area of Nova Scotia - although we are all within easy travelling of each other, each hostel and its immediate area offers vastly different experiences...so travel the Backpackers SouthWest Nova loop and experience the diversity that is Nova Scotia. You can find our hostels in Caledonia near Kejimkujik National Park, Port Mouton near Keji Seaside Adjunct, Yarmouth, Digby, Brier Island, and Maders Cove between Mahone Bay and Lunenburg.
