We are all within easy travelling of each other, and each hostel and its immediate area offers vastly different experiences...so travel the Backpackers SouthWest Nova loop and experience the diversity that is Nova Scotia.  Even if you do not have a car, don't let anybody tell you it's impossible to get around: there are many small-scale shuttle services and local bus systems that will get you where you want to go.
